Wing of Madness is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. I will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Wing of Madness collects information from its members at several different points on the website.

Registration

In order to use the message board, a member must first complete a registration form. During registration a member is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information will only be used to email pertinent information about the operation of the message board, if necessary.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the member's hard drive containing information about the member. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Cookies are used on Wing of Madness to maintain member login information on the message board so that it is not necessary to sign in multiple times during each visit.

Log Files

I use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that Wing of Madness is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. I encourage our visitors to be aware that when they leave this site they should read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.

Tell-A-Friend

If a member elects to use the referral service for informing a friend about the site, they are asked for the friend's name and email address to send the referral. Wing of Madness will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. This information is stored for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. Email Postcards

If a member elects to use the email postcard service, they are asked for the friend's name and email address. This information is stored for a period of ten days to allow the friend to view the postcard. After ten days the postcard and all information collected is automatically deleted.

This website takes every precaution to protect the members' information. All of our users' information is viewed only by me, and is in a secure area. Choice/Opt-out

Notification of Changes

If I decide to change the privacy policy, I will post an announcement of those changes on the front page so that members are always aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under circumstances, if any, I disclose it. If at any point I decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected (extremely unlikely), I will notify members by way of email. Members will have a choice as to whether or not I use their information in this different manner. I will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
